The Lady Raiders golf team traveled to Mt. Vernon for the first match of the year on Monday, the Mt. Vernon Invitational. The following teams made up the field for the tournament: Mt. Vernon, Boonville, Evansville Reitz, Evansville Mater Dei, Evansville Bosse, North Posey, South Spencer and Southridge. It was a very hot and sunny day on the beautiful Western Hills Country Club course. The Raiders played well for the first outing of the season, posting a team score 431 giving them a solid second place behind Reitz with a 415. Millie Hunter led the way for the Raiders posting a 99 for the 18 hole event. Her score earned her top 10 honors in 4th place. Congratulations ladies and keep up the good work!
